Adele is known for her honesty and telling it like it is, especially when she’s on stage, and now she’s opened up about family life and says that “it’s the bravest thing not to have a child”.
The All I Ask hitmaker, who is currently touring the world with her latest album 25, claimed that most people have babies because they submit to peer pressure and succumb to other people’s expectations.
Adele, who welcomed her son Angelo in 2012 with her partner Simon Konecki, spoke to Vanity Fair as she said: “I think it’s the bravest thing to not have a child. All my friends and I felt pressurised into having kids because that’s what adults do.
“I love my son more than anything but on a daily basis, if I have a minute or two, I wish I could do whatever the f*** I wanted.”
The British songbird has revealed she battled with post-natal depression after giving birth to her son Angelo.
The usually private star opened-up during an interview with Vanity Fair and admitted she has been left “too scared” to have another child.
